Competence development: right now!The rationale, implementation and use of the TENCompetence infrastructure formed the focus of a one-day event in Utrecht on Thursday, 23 April. This event was hosted by the SURF foundation and was the first of many major dissemination initiatives planned for 2009. On 1-6 February 2009 the third and last TENCompetence Winter School took place in an attractive winter resort near Innsbruck, Austria. 44 people from a range of countries including Canada and Russia took part in the event. Submitted by ckew on 18 February, 2009 - 10:17.
5th TENCompetence Open Workshop - Sofia 2008The second of two open-workshops held in Sofia, this event set out to identify and analyse state-of-the-art research and technologies in the fields that provide the building blocks for the development of an open source competence development infrastructure. Run over a two day period, the event included a total of fifteen presentations from TENCompetence partners, Associate Partners and interested parties from outside the project.
