This year's ePortfolio conference is being co-organised by TENCompetence. The main organiser is Eifel and various other partners are also involved in the organisation committee: SURF, CWI, Kennisnet, Kenteq, the City of Maastricht and the Province of Limburg.

 It will be held in the picturesque city of Maastricht at the Maastricht Exhibition Conference Centre, and will span five whole days from 15th to 19th October.

 The conference goes under the theme of "Employability and Lifelong Learning in the Knowledge society, and, as the title suggests, it includes a number of related issues which are relevant to the TENCompetence project, in particular, "Methods, technologies and standards related to (personal) competence development/lifelong learning".

The conference language will be English and will include, "an academic track with peer reviewed research papers and a practitioner track with peer reviewed case studies, work in progress and posters."

 This highly popular European conference promises to be an important and interesting event for practitioners, academics and SMEs alike.
